School Council

Our School council has three main responsibilities:

  • finance: overseeing the development of the school’s annual budget and ensuring proper records are kept of the school’s financial operation
  • strategic planning: participating in the development and monitoring of the school strategic plan
  • policy development and review: developing, reviewing and updating policies that reflect a school’s values and support the school’s broad direction outlined in its strategic plan, within Department guidelines, which will ensure that the aims of the school are achieved.

Elections are held at the start of each year and nominations are called for to cover up to five parent representatives and up to two Department representatives. The Council can also co-opt other members to support the needs of the school.

Our School Council meets on selected Tuesday's of the month during school terms at 7pm.
